Implementasi Model Sinektik Berbasis Kontekstual dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract

Islamic religious education aims to realize human beings who in the process of their creation are only for worship so that in their implementation they become Muslim who are faithful, pious, and knowledgeable who are able to devote themselves to God with a complete attitude and personality who surrender themselves in all aspects of life in order to seek the pleasure of God. This goal can be achieved through students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials. Developing a learning model is one of the main factors that can help improve learning outcomes. Thus, to improve learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI) subjects in Islamic Higher Education environments, innovation as a learning model in Higher Education requires characteristics and needs so that they are in accordance with the related material. A systematic and interesting learning model is one of the things that can support the achievement of the expected competencies. The synectic learning model is one of the strategies that can improve PAI learning outcomes. The rationale for this model is that metaphorical activities include personal analogies, direct analogies, and condensed conflicts that can help students understand the textual concepts of PAI material, especially regarding religious beliefs.
